An old power dies, a new power rises, a clan disappears, and an old conniver meets final death as the great Jyhad turns.

After making a number of unpopular decisions the respectable Prince Glenn Lancaster was pressured into stepping down from his throne by long time Keeper of Elysium Jules Carver. The powerful Brujah elder then proceeded to take the title of Prince for himself. Given the known power of Carver it came as little surprise that few if anyone dared to challenge him.
Lancaster did however manage to greatly diminish the power of a potentially rival clan by ordering the death of the Nosferatu Joseph Smeagly. The conniving sewer rat was destroyed by Clan Brujah after attempting to protect his ally Jules Carver from what was believed to be a rigged trial.
With the change of power some took it upon themselves to eliminate an old threat and seek retribution of old wrongs as Clan Tremere was subject to a vicious purge. Almost all the warlocks were destroyed by a combined force of Clans Gangrel and Tzmisce. Ironically the strongest defender of Clan Tremere known as Mr. White was destroyed earlier in the night, leaving the clan as a whole vulnerable.
Clan Gangrel was also heard to have been making strange allies with a curious mortal priest. Though advised against it by some at least two Gangrel were known to meet with the individual and divulge minor information to him.
Other kindred were able to amuse themselves with less hostile activities such as taking in a weapons expo at the Charlotte convention center. The local Brujah, Nosferatu, and Malkavians all seemed to enjoy themselves and many commented on the variety and quality of weapons shown.
An outside ally may have been found against the threat of the Dark Mother Cult plaguing Charlottes vampire population. A enigmatic individual claiming to be a modern day magus asked the local kindred population to aid in the rescue of a loved one from the Dark Mother. After an assualt on one of the Mothers strongholds and a battle with her defenders the alliance was sealed against the growing threat of the Dark Mothers forces.
Recent clashes with what appear to be Sabbat are also raising questions to the cities safety from future assaults. Small skirmishes have been reported throughout the months with the most recent leaving some Brujah slightly wounded.
Finally the degeneration of Clan Malkavian has seemed to finally reach Charlotte as open violence among the clan has finally begun. Though none of the moon clan have been destroyed yet there have been some very close calls.
New and old powers clash amids the back drop of uncertainity. Time will tell how the story unfolds."
